Retirement Planning Events – The Retirement Café
We recognise that retirement is far more than purely an economic event. It can be one of the most enjoyable stages of life: time to take up new hobbies or get pleasure from doing the ones you love; and opportunities to spend time with family and friends and generally relish a more relaxing pace of life.
But with more time and freedom can come new challenges to be faced.
The Retirement Café gives local people an opportunity to learn more about issues, opportunities and challenges that may affect their retirement, over coffee and cake. Each month we bring together experts in topics ranging from inheritance tax planning to dementia, from funding care to preparing for probate.

Justin is a longstanding advocate of financial life planning – taking a truly person-centric approach to financial planning by putting a client’s aspirations, concerns and values at the heart of the process. He was invited to sit alongside the so-called father of financial life planning, George Kinder, on the panel at the PFS Festival of Financial Planning to answer questions about how to integrate the life planning approach into a financial planning practice.
This article in Money Marketing covers the session.
