The Boomer project is progressing impressively and I’ve been working on pulling together some great content for the Boomer Book. Throughout my research I’ve collected some insightful facts about the Baby Boomer generation.
As we age, we tend to rely on others more – the likely cost to the NHS and public services in general will be huge. NESTA estimates that public spending on our ageing society could exceed £300 billion by 2025, as a result of the costs of social care, long-term health conditions, pensions and benefits. Mintel found that 45% of the adults sampled aged over 45 had given no thought at all to funding long term care:
The Boom! Demographics Are Destiny screening (28th November) at the Regent Centre is fast approaching and tickets will soon be on sale via the Regent Centre.
