Who says the housing market is struggling?
For a staggering £170,000 a family from Christchurch has snapped up a bijoux (albeit beautifully designed) beach hut on Mudeford Spit making it the most expensive beach hut sold in Britain by almost £50,000!
The 18ft x 10ft timber retreat is on an isolated spit with no running hot water or washing facilities and requires a 30 minute walk, a ride on a land-train or a short ferry trip to get there. It boasts stunning dual views of Christchurch harbour on one side and the Solent on the other.
Idyllic. Just idyllic. And it could even be construed as a good investment proposition . . . ?
