Choosing a Care Home

There are lots of things to consider when choosing a care home, lots of questions to ask and checklists of what to look for. With so much to consider, it can get a bit overwhelming.

Whether you opt for care at home or residential care, it can be an expensive business, which is just one of the reasons we believe it is crucial to plan ahead for your retirement.

I recently chatted to Ruth Wildman, Care Home Manager at Avon Reach in Mudeford, Christchurch. Ruth has worked in the care industry for many years, first working as a care assistant before obtaining a BSc (hons) in Adult Nursing and the Registered Managers Award. Being an expert in the care community, she shared some valuable advice about how to choose a care home.

Watch my exclusive video interview with Ruth below and discover the top tips for choosing a care home as well as the key things you should consider.
