Tax needn’t be taxing. Or so the saying goes.
But we all know that tax rules can be complex, even convoluted, and are continually changing.
Which is why the Christchurch Chamber of Trade and Commerce decided to host a breakfast seminar to help local people reduce their overall tax bill.
As an Executive Committee Member of the Chamber I presented our top ’50 Tax Tips’ alongside a local accountant. Over 20 members of the Christchurch Chamber and their colleagues enjoyed a full English breakfast at the Highcliffe Castle Golf Club, whilst we illustrated a number of different ways people could take advantage of tax breaks to help their businesses, their employees and themselves.
This was the first in a series of Breakfast Seminars to be hosted by the Christchurch Chamber of Trade and Commerce, which will be held on the first Wednesday of each month at Highcliffe Castle Golf Club. You can find out more about the Chamber and what they do on their Facebook page.
